Danielle Prunty (she/her)
I am an interior designer interested in creating spaces that evoke comfort, joy and purpose. I believe good interior design is a balance of function, aesthetic and space and can help people in more ways than is realised. I enjoy the use of architectural elements within my practice as well as minimal, thought out decorative features which can force users to spectate and notice their surroundings, engaging in design on a more grounded and personal level. By creating these relationships with people and the interiors I believe this makes for spaces that will be remembered and respected without being overly intrusive or obnoxious.
I am a creative person who is influenced by many different ingredients including nature, film, and artwork but most of all I am influenced by the successfulness of the users needs that are met in the finished product.
I like to continously try and learn new creative utilities to unlock new elements that can be used within my practice. Some of these include animation, pop-up books, video creation, virtual reality interaction and artwork.

Aura Spa
The aim is to turn the Church Street School Swimming Pool building into an imaginative immersive spa, “Aura”. The purpose of this space is to relax, engage, relieve and de-stress the user. It includes a rehash of the swimming pool area which has vitality corners designed to relieve pressure and reduce stress, a steam room, sauna, variety of shower options including rainforest, hot and cold as well as an aqua projection experience. Aura also offers a range of treatments including massages, facials and acupuncture. The use of floatation baths are also available; as is a small yoga and meditation studio. Upon arrival to Aura is a healthy Juice Bar, open to the public and spa customers.
